Oman Sends First Shipment To Saudi Arabia Through 'TIR' System

Oman has succeeded in exporting the first shipment of foodstuffs to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by using the international road transport system "TIR".
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The Sultanate succeeds in exporting the first shipment of foodstuffs to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using the international road transport system, "TIR", and reduced 30 per cent in customs fees while cutting 50 per cent of the time compared to the regular transport system."
