Local media reported that four people were killed and 49 injured when a bus carrying 53 passengers overturned in Oman on Friday.
As reported by the Royal Oman Police, the accident occurred at the exit leading from Aqaba Qantab to Al Bustan-Wadi Al Kabir Road.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, while authorities are working to clear the area.
Investigations are underway to know the reasons behind the overturning of the bus.
In order to prevent accidents, the Royal Oman Police has urged drivers to exercise caution and follow traffic rules.
