On Wednesday, Salalah Port welcomed a cruise ship with 2,610 passengers on board, including 1,976 tourists.

The itinerary for the cruise ship, which arrived from the Jordanian port of Aqaba and was en route to Port Sultan Qaboos in the Muscat Governorate, featured guided tours to explore the renowned archaeological, tourist, and historical sites for which the Dhofar Governorate is renowned.

Additionally, the tourists had the opportunity to explore the beaches and traditional markets in the city of Salalah.

It's important to highlight that Oman receives numerous cruise ships each year owing to its strategic maritime location along the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, and the Sea of Oman.
