Due to unstable weather conditions, all tourist sites in Oman have been closed temporarily.

The decision was taken after several missing cases and deaths were reported in different parts of the country, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).

In Dhofar Governorate, an expat family of eight drowned on Sunday after falling off a cliff near Al Mughsayl beach. A vehicle swept away in Wadi Ahan in Suhar, killing two Omani citizens.

The CDAA announced on Sunday that all tourist sites will be closed until the weather stabilizes. According to the report, the casualties occurred because instructions and warnings were not followed.
