Tropical Cyclone Tej in the Arabian Sea was reported by Oman Meteorology on Sunday to have intensified into a Category 2 tropical cyclone. Furthermore, the meteorological agency stated that Tropical Cyclone Tej has deepened into a second-degree tropical cyclone, with wind speeds near its center ranging from 83 to 95 knots. The cyclone's current position is southwest of the Arabian Sea, situated at a latitude of 12.17 north and a longitude of 55.54 east. It is currently moving in a west/northwest direction, with rain clouds extending over the coastal areas of Dhofar and Al Wusta Governorates.
