Today, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism entered into an agreement with Mirbat-Sadah Development and Investment Company for the management and operation of Mirbat Castle. The deal extends to the reconstruction and operation of the archaeology antiques market and customs office in the Wilayat of Mirbat in the Dhofar Governorate.

The signing ceremony involved Eng. Ibrahim Said Al Kharousi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Heritage, and Braik Musallam Al Amri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mirbat-Sadah Development and Investment Company.

This agreement aligns with the Ministry's successful efforts to create investment opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and seeks to leverage cultural heritage for sustainability and maximum benefit. It is part of a series of initiatives aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the 10th Development Plan and its strategic programs.

As part of its strategy, the Ministry intends to offer numerous historical landmarks to privately-owned companies and SMEs.
