The Sultanate of Oman's Expo 2025 Participation Celebrated at Special Reception in Muscat

The General Commission of the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Oman, hosted a reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Muscat. The event, sponsored by H.E. Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, commemorated Oman's upcoming involvement in Expo 2025, scheduled for April 13 to October 13, 2025, on Osaka's Japanese island.

H.E. the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion highlighted Oman's commitment to bolstering industry, trade, and international relations through its participation in Expo 2025. He emphasized the opportunity to showcase Oman's diverse economic, industrial, and commercial capabilities, fostering experiences exchange and strategic partnerships with participating countries.

Expressing optimism, H.E. the Ambassador of Japan to Oman, Yamamoto Gota, welcomed Oman's participation in the international exhibition, noting its significance in introducing Oman to the Japanese and global community.

Commissioner General of the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, H.E. Sayyed Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, outlined Oman's ambitious vision for progress and sustainable development in various fields, stating that Expo 2025 serves as a global platform for achievements display, experience exchange, international cooperation enhancement, and partnership formation with participating countries.

The ceremony featured three films highlighting the Oman-Japan ties, the pavilion concept, and the announcement of Oman's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka in Tokyo in November 2023. Dignitaries and officials from various government and private agencies attended the event, including the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth for Youth, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, and other esteemed guests.
