The Minister of Finance, Sultan Salim Al Habsi, confirmed the government's commitment to subsidizing fuel prices. 

Additionally, he announced the allocation of OMR60 million for the promotion of employees from the years 2013 and 2014, totaling more than 52,000 individuals. 

Starting this Tuesday, employees with seniority from 2013 will receive promotions, while those from 2014 will be promoted in July 2024.

Furthermore, the minister projected that around OMR1.6 billion would be disbursed from the public debt of the Sultanate of Oman in 2024. 

He emphasized that government employment is influenced by the natural growth of projects and replacement, with OMR36 million allocated in the 2024 budget for training programs combined with employment initiatives.
