This morning, an official reception ceremony was organized for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Palace in New Delhi, marking the occasion of His Majesty's "state" visit to the Republic of India.

Following the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken with His Majesty the Sultan, the Indian President, and the Indian Prime Minister. Subsequently, His Majesty proceeded to the honor podium, where the Omani Royal Anthem and the Indian national anthem were played. During this time, the King inspected the guard of honor assembled to welcome him.

As His Majesty's procession entered the gates of the Presidential Palace, a group of knights accompanied the procession, and a salute of twenty-one rounds was fired in honor of His Majesty. Upon arriving at the courtyard of the Presidential Palace, Her Excellency President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India were present. Formal introductions took place, with well-wishers extending greetings for a pleasant stay to His Majesty and the accompanying official delegation.

Following these greetings, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik exchanged handshakes with senior representatives from the Indian side. Simultaneously, the Indian President and Prime Minister extended handshakes to members of the official delegation accompanying His Majesty.

To commemorate this historic visit, a memorial photo capturing the momentous occasion of the country's monarch was released at the conclusion of the official reception ceremony.
