
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is scheduled to undertake two state visits to the Republic of Singapore and the Republic of India, commencing on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, as announced by the Diwan of the Royal Court in a issued statement:
"His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is set to embark on two state visits to the Republic of Singapore and the Republic of India, beginning on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
These visits underscore the advanced relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the two friendly countries, responding to invitations extended to His Majesty the Sultan.
The agenda of the two visits will include discussions on areas of cooperation between Oman and the two countries, exploring avenues to enhance relations across various domains to serve mutual interests and foster prosperity for the peoples of the three nations.
Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan on these visits will be an official high-ranking delegation, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; HH Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court; Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA); Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry.
