New Chairman And Deputy Chairman Chosen By OHRC

In its inaugural meeting, the Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) elected Dr. Rashid Hamad Al Balushi as the Chairman of OHRC and Saud Saleh Al Maawali as the Deputy Chairman. Al Balushi, speaking to Oman News Agency (ONA), stated that the commission is actively engaged in formulating a national human rights strategy in accordance with the guidelines outlined in Article 11 of the commission's regulations. He emphasized that the commission has significant tasks ahead, both at the national and international levels.
