During His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's state visit to the Republic of India, the Sultanate of Oman and India entered into agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) covering various sectors including culture, communications, information technology, and the exchange of financial information.

One of the MoUs focused on cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman and the Ministry of Culture of India. It was signed by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, and Govind Mohan, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture from the Indian side.

In the field of information technology, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of Oman and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India. This was signed by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani and Amit Narang, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman.

An agreement concerning work permits for official employee delegations was signed between the governments of Oman and India. Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani represented Oman, and Muktesh Pardeshi, Secretary for Consular, Passport, Visa, and Overseas Indian Affairs in the Ministry of External Affairs, represented India.

Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Center for Financial Information of Oman and the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Government of India. This memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of intelligence information related to money laundering, associated crimes, and terrorist financing. Col. Abdulrahman bin Amer Al Kiyumi, Executive President of the National Center for Financial Information (NCFI), and Vivek Aggarwal, Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit, signed the document.

Finally, the Joint Vision 2023 was signed by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani and Amit Narang, outlining shared goals and cooperation between Oman and India.
