The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially declared the commencement of the tourist visa exemption for Omani citizens planning to visit the Republic of Türkiye. According to the announcement, Omani citizens with ordinary passports can now enter Türkiye for tourism purposes and stay for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

This initiative follows a previous announcement by the Turkish Embassy in Muscat, stating that a Presidential Decree No. 7976, dated 23 December 2023, grants visa exemption to Omani citizens with ordinary passports for tourist travels to Türkiye, allowing a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period."
