Between February and December 2023, the number of visitors to the archaeological sites of Bisya and Salut in the Wilayat of Bahla, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, affiliated with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, surpassed 5,000 people of all ages.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Tamimi, the Director of the Bisya and Salut Archaeological Site Department at the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage, highlighted the diverse cultural heritage present at the site, featuring architectural forms, towers, wells, ground cemeteries, marine cemeteries, and rock inscriptions. The site aims to attract and educate visitors about the historical dimension, with three main halls representing the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and World Heritage Sites. These sections house 344 artifacts, carefully selected to support the scientific narratives in the exhibition hall lists.

These artifacts depict various time periods of human settlement in the region, showcasing the scale and nature of economic activities centered around agriculture, trade, and mining. The exhibits include tools, stone utensils, pottery, seals, and bronze artifacts.

Al Tamimi emphasized the department's commitment to scientific research, complementing the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism's efforts in surveying, scientific documentation, and periodic monitoring of archaeological sites. The center oversees archaeological missions and provides support to researchers and enthusiasts in the fields of history and archaeology.

Furthermore, Al Tamimi mentioned that the center's outdoor spaces facilitate exhibitions for small and medium enterprises, displays of productive families, plastic arts, and the hosting of sporting events and various evening parties.
