ROP Detains Three Expatriates For Khat Smuggling In Dhofar

On Sunday, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) apprehended three expatriates for attempting to smuggle significant quantities of khat into Oman.
According to an official statement from the ROP, "Coast Guard Police in Dhofar detained three individuals in possession of numerous bundles of khat. The suspects were caught attempting to smuggle large quantities of khat into the country."
The statement also mentioned, "Legal procedures have been initiated against them.
