The ceremony announcing the results of His Majesty the Sultan’s Youth Cup competition for the 2021/2022 sports season was sponsored by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Harasi, Minister of Information.

Salalah Club emerged as the winner of His Majesty the Sultan’s Youth Cup for the 2021/2022 sports season, with ⁧‫Seeb‬⁩ Club securing the second position and ⁧‫Masirah‬⁩ Club claiming the third spot.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth for Sports and Youth, His Excellency, highlighted that the competition stands as a genuine manifestation of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's unwavering dedication to the youth. One of its objectives is to inspire clubs to consistently elevate the standards of their diverse activities, creating an environment that nurtures and responds to the aspirations and ambitions of the youth.

He further stated, "The Ministry will initiate a comprehensive assessment of the sports sector in the Sultanate ⁧‫of Oman‬⁩ in collaboration with an international expert organization, commencing in January 2024."
