In a telephone conversation, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, along with Ayman Al Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan, deliberated on the regional and global initiatives aimed at halting the escalation in Gaza. They emphasized the importance of safeguarding civilians from the consequences of the present crisis involving Israel and the Palestinian territories in Gaza.
Both ministers underscored the significance of employing reason and pursuing a political resolution grounded in international legal principles and the right to self-determination.
Additionally, Sayyid Badr conferred with his GCC counterparts on endeavors to reinitiate the peace process and the urgent steps required to terminate the ongoing conflict in Palestine. This includes establishing humanitarian pathways for the people in Gaza and adhering to international and humanitarian laws
