A two-day seminar initiated by the Ministry of Economy commenced today, aiming to delve into the realms of economic and developmental integration within the GCC.

Entitled "The Contribution of the Private Sector to Economic Diversification in GCC States," the seminar's inaugural ceremony enjoyed the patronage of Dhafir Awad Al Shanfari, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee at the State Council.

Furthermore, the event delved into strategies for establishing a highly competitive private sector within the region, capable of engaging on the global stage. Emphasis was placed on elucidating the role of the private sector in actualizing the initiatives, projects, and programs related to GCC economic integration.

All insights gathered during the seminar will be presented to the ministerial permanent preparatory committee of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority.
