Suspension Of ID Card Issuance And Renewal

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced the suspension of ID card issuance, renewal, or replacement on Sunday, October 22 and October 29, 2023, coinciding with the Shura Council election. The ROP's Security Relations and Media Department stated that this measure is in line with the voting for the tenth term elections of the Shura Council. However, other services such as passport, birth and death certificates, and residence card services will continue to be available during this period.
