The Supreme Judicial Council has introduced the "Tawtheeq" digital platform, which is dedicated to offering electronic notary services in Oman. The platform encompasses 61 services in its initial package, aimed at streamlining procedures, strengthening preventative justice, and advancing comprehensive digital transformation. Additionally, the Council has launched a workshop to formulate the Council's strategic plan for the period 2024-2040, involving 29 government and private entities, along with 200 participants, including experts, academics, legal professionals, and judges. This initiative aims to foster community collaboration and establish a unified vision for judicial operations. The Secretary General of the Supreme Judicial Council emphasized that the strategic plan serves as the foundational framework for realizing their long-term vision and objectives. It is designed to enhance the operational systems of justice-related agencies, simplify litigation processes, and instill confidence in the recipients of judicial and legal services.
