The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has issued a cautionary notice directed towards individuals engaged in marketing and promotion through websites and social media.
The Ministry highlights concerns over some practitioners engaging in these activities without securing the required license from the Ministry. Additionally, it points out violations of regulations, such as the absence of a license number in their online accounts, breaches of public morals, and failure to adhere to ethical behavior and honesty standards.
Recent actions taken by the Ministry include summoning violators and implementing necessary measures. Emphasizing the importance of obtaining a license prior to engaging in such activities, the Ministry underscores the need for strict adherence to the regulations outlined in Ministerial Resolution No. (619/2022) governing marketing and promotion practices on websites and social media. This adherence is crucial to prevent any potential legal consequences.
