After the commencement of the 'Made in Oman' campaign, there has been a noticeable surge in consumer interest in local products. The campaign is actively taking place in various commercial centers across different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman and is scheduled to continue until the end of December.

Conducted by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) in collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Joint Committee for External Exhibitions of Omani Products (OPEX), the campaign has received acclaim for its efforts in raising awareness about Omani products and fostering local investment.

Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Salem Al Waeli underscored the importance of the 'Made in Oman' initiative, noting its crucial role in consumer education, local investment promotion, and encouragement of Omani product purchases. He emphasized that opting for Omani products is not merely a preference but a strategic decision to support innovation and drive economic growth in the Sultanate of Oman.

Al Waeli highlighted the significance of consumer education in the campaign, emphasizing that local products stand out due to their exceptional manufacturing quality. He stressed that supporting Omani products represents a concrete step towards strengthening the economy and expanding the market presence of Omani products.

The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion reported that numerous consumers have attested to the high quality, specifications, and attributes of Omani products, positioning them as formidable competitors against imported products in both local and international markets. Additionally, the campaign advocates for the notion that purchasing local products significantly contributes to supporting the national economy, generating internal economic benefits, and promoting foreign trade.
