Muscat Municipality has announced that a penalty of OMR 100 will be levied on individuals found disposing of waste in non-designated areas. The municipality emphasized in a statement that unauthorized waste disposal carries a fine of OMR 100, with the possibility of the penalty being doubled in case of repeated offenses.
The statement further outlined that offenders are granted one day to relocate the waste to the designated disposal sites.
