On January 5, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said will lead a ceremony commemorating the Royal Oman Police (ROP) annual day. The event, held at the military parade grounds of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in the wilayat of Nizwa, will include the graduation of new batches of ROP officer recruits.
