The Royal Hospital has achieved noteworthy milestones, with its publications reaching 150, marking a 30 percent increase over the past five years, Dr. Al Harthi noted. In 2023, the hospital conducted diverse research in areas such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and others, underscoring its dedication to integrated and high-quality healthcare.

Dr. Al Harthi emphasized the strategic priority of building the capabilities and competency of research personnel, focusing on the practical application of knowledge and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.

Collaboration is a key aspect of the hospital's research endeavors, with increased cooperation with academic institutions. The percentage of publications associated with collaboration with other academic institutions has risen from 3 percent to 7 percent.
