In line with the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the State Council commences its Eighth Term (2023-2027) with the inaugural session of its first regular meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

The session's agenda involves the induction of members for the 8th term, along with an address by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, the Chairman of the State Council.

During this inaugural session of the 8th term, the State Council will conduct elections for two deputy chairpersons and members of the State Council's Office. Additionally, council members will vie for positions within the Council's permanent committees.
