
The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFoW) has recorded two reports of workers' rights violation within a span of five days.
According to the federation, reports included deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves for quarantine periods from annual leave, and notifications of termination of service.
A statement issued online by the federation said, "An increase in the number of settlement minutes and collective work agreements compared to the number of reports during the period from 20th to 24th September.The total of settlement minutes and collective work agreements amounts to 245 "
According to the data shared by the Federation, in the period from 20th to 24th September, two reports of various violations were monitored, and the total number of reports reached 378.
