Oman Customs intercepted an individual's effort to smuggle over 25 kilograms of marijuana along with substantial quantities of psychotropic pills. The General Directorate of Customs reported, 'Muscat International Airport Customs detected an individual's endeavor to import over 25 kilograms of marijuana and concealed quantities of psychotropic pills. The smuggler had adeptly hidden these substances within sealed molds, ingeniously concealed within bags containing oats and barley.'

In a separate incident, Customs teams successfully prevented the smuggling of crystal narcotics, where the perpetrator deliberately liquefied the substances and expertly concealed them within a piece of fabric.
