
The Oman Human Rights Commission has verified its active monitoring of an incident involving the assault on a resident by two individuals. In a recent statement, the Commission confirmed its oversight of the reported assault on a resident by two individuals, in collaboration with relevant authorities to pursue legal action against the perpetrators.
Furthermore, emphasizing the Sultanate's commitment to safeguarding the safety and dignity of all its citizens and residents, the OHRC highlighted that by virtue of its laws, especially the Basic Law of the State, every individual is entitled to a life free from harm or assault, as guaranteed under Article 22 of the Basic Law of the State. The State is dedicated to ensuring security and tranquility for all residing within its borders, affirming the right to seek legal recourse through competent authorities to reinforce these guarantees.
