Locals and expats taking part in the ongoing National Serological Survey are required to go to the health centre they’ve been instructed to visit, where they will be briefed on what they need to do while there.
“Your immediate response to participating in this national survey will save the time and effort of those conducting it, and will help us complete this on time,” said a ministry statement.
“There are no consequences to participating in the survey, such as mandatory isolation and wearing an electronic bracelet, so please do not hesitate to come forward and participate with us.” The National Serological Survey aims to trace the causes, methods and areas of transmission of COVID-19 in the country, as well as look at how to best curb its spread.
The ministry has urged people to not hesitate from participating in the survey when they are requested to do so.
“The results of the survey on the COVID-19 pandemic will serve the individual and the society, so we ask you to join with us,” the statement added.
“Loyalty to Oman will get us to safety. For Oman’s sake, let’s join hands for the COVID-19 serological survey.
The ministry went on to say: “Your participation in the National Serological Survey for COVID-19 is a reflection of your awareness and responsibility for the country. Our aim is to defeat the pandemic…please be with us at this time. With everyone’s efforts, our goals will be achieved. Your participation in the National Serological Survey is highly appreciated.”
