Oman has extended the night closure of commercial activities until April 3 across all governorates, the Supreme Committee said on Wednesday.

The closure is between 8pm till 5am everyday, however, fuel stations, health institutions and private pharmacies, shops for the sale and repair of tires located in fuel stations, the movement of goods, transportation, loading and unloading, home delivery of food from foodstuff and restaurants are exempted from the closure.

Meanwhile, the committee has decided to ban all direct flights from the United Kingdom with the exception of cargo flights, starting from 12pm on Friday, March 19 until further notice.

The committee also decided to reduce the number of employees who are required to come to the workplace in the state’s administrative apparatus and other public institutions to 70% starting from Sunday 21 March 2021 until Thursday 1 April 2021.
