The Public Prosecution on Thursday issued names and photos of five people who violated the Supreme Committee decisions in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
According to the Public Prosecution (PP), the five accused including four Omanis and one Bangladeshi national violated several decisions of the Supreme Committee.
In a statement issued, PP said the accuse violated institutional quarantine, illegal gathering and going to the beach. They have been sentenced for a period of three months and fine up to OMR 300. “Primary courts in (3) governorates convicted (5) people for violating the Supreme Committee’s decisions that include violating institutional quarantine, gathering & going to the beach, and sentenced them to a period that ranges to (3) months in prison and a fine up to 300 OMR,” Public Prosecution said.
