Smuggling Attempt Foiled In Oman

The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has foiled the smuggling of 3,736 packages of khat.
A statement issued online by ROP said:"Coast Guard police boats thwarted the smuggling of (3,736) packages of khat on board a boat carried out by four people off the shores of the state of Sadah, and the boat, people and seizures were handed over to the Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances to complete the rest of the procedures.
