The Environment Authority is carrying out field surveys to identify harmful pests that are destroying wild trees in the mountains of Dhofar Governorate.
The Authority said in a statement: "In cooperation with the Omani Botanical Garden, the Environment Authority is carrying out field surveys to identify harmful pests that are destroying wild trees in the mountains of Dhofar Governorate."
"The surveys aim to prepare the practical methodology for pest control during the coming period," EA added.
