In a continuing operation, Muscat Municipality has seized several abandoned cars left in public places and called on owners of vehicles to avoid such actions.

A statement by Muscat Municipality said: "The municipality in Baushar continues to confiscate discarded cars from various roads and public squares in the wilayat."

The municipality affirmed the unlawfulness of this action in accordance with the Administrative Decision (171/2018) issued regarding the regulation of neglected vehicles in public places in the Governorate of Muscat, and called for vehicle owners to  avoid this act as it distorts the appearance of the Wilayat.
