The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion urged the commercial agents who registered with the Ministry to renew the registration of their commercial agency contracts.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion urges the commercial agents registered with the Ministry to submit requests for renewal of the registration of their commercial agencies' contracts during the last month of their expiration, with the necessity to submit the necessary documents indicating the continuation of these contracts."

"Confirming that the agency's registration will be cancelled if 90 days have passed from the date of its expiration date."

"The steps to submit a commercial agency service request through Invest Easy and service delivery offices (Sanad - law firm and accounts submission) are as follows:

1. Adding the two activities for the company: the activity of commercial business agencies and import and export offices in the commercial registry.

2. For an individual trader, the business agency activity is added to the commercial register

3. The request verified by specialists at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion

4. After approval of the request, a certificate of registration of commercial agency data is issued," the statement added.
