The Council of Ministers on Saturday congratulated the Omani women on the occasion of the Omani Women’s Day.

In a statement, the Council of Ministers said, “The Sultanate’s celebration of the Omani Women’s Day which falls on October 17 every year is a reflection of the attention and hounouring being accorded to Omani women since the Renaissance dawn in recognition of their efforts and contributions to comprehensive development alongside their male partners”

The Omani women have undertaken constructive roles in the national work and they have made numerous achievements in various work domains in the public and private sectors. Besides, they competently represented the Sultanate in the regional and international events, the statement added.

The Council of Ministers congratulates the Omani women on this occasion while expressing its utmost appreciation for all Omani mothers for their major and significant role in building a good family and preparing successive generations to preserve the achievements of the past decades.

The Council of Ministers wishes the Omani women more success to undertake their responsibilities and continue their achievements for the sake of dear Oman.”
