The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has appealed urgently for people to donate platelets at the central blood bank in Bausher.

"The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), to sustain the provision of blood and its components to patients, renews its appeal to all citizens and residents to carry out their humanitarian and patriotic duty and urges them to hurry to donate platelets during these days due to the sharp decrease in platelet stocks at the central blood bank in Bausher in Muscat Governorate," DBBS said in a statement.
DBBS added that platelet donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 am and 6 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Please book your appointment to donate platelets via WhatsApp at 94555648.
