The National Center for Emergency Management has called on all licensed electricians to help provide teams for inspection of the main electricity complexes and homes of affected people to ensure safe return of electricity.

The center said in a statement: “In the interest of the safety of the residents of the homes, the security and safety requirements require examining the electricity paths from main complexes to the internal distribution networks. The National Center for Emergency Situations Management invites all who have licensed electricians to communicate with the temporary call centre in Suwaiq on: 26061103/ 26061102 26061105/ 26061120 | 26061118. Camps will be provided to house these technicians and distribute them to the affected areas to help restore electricity to the affected homes".

In addition, the electricity sector urges homeowners affected by the tropical situation to disconnect all electrical appliances from the sockets until safety checks of the electrical circuits are completed.
