Five Held For Fraud In Oman

Five expats have been arrested in Muscat Governorate on charges of electronic fraud on bank customers.
A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police, ( ROP ), said:”Muscat Governorate Police Command arrests five Asians on charges of electronic fraud on bank customers. The defendants resort to sending text messages under the pretext of blocking the bank card for not updating it and asking customers to communicate with them and lure them to obtain personal data, and the legal procedures are completed.”
