The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman has urged the international community to initiate an impartial investigation into Israel's aggressive actions and to hold Israel accountable for its deliberate targeting of Gaza Strip civilians.

His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, called upon the international community to launch an independent inquiry into Israel's aggression and prosecute it for intentionally targeting Gaza Strip civilians and their infrastructure. He expressed concern over the denial of humanitarian needs, the blockade, and collective punishment imposed on the population.

His Excellency emphasized Oman's commitment to seeking political solutions based on dialogue and international law, urging the international community to intervene to halt the conflict in Gaza and deter Israel from violating international law and continuing military operations, which have led to civilian casualties and the destruction of Palestinian territories.

The Foreign Minister stated, "I firmly believe that violence is not a solution, and we strongly condemn it, particularly because it often results in the suffering of children and civilians. History has shown that a military solution is not feasible for the Palestinian issue or the Arab-Israeli conflict." He acknowledged the legitimate right of resistance movements or organizations but stressed that a lasting and just solution can only be achieved through peaceful means, such as political solutions, dialogue, and a strong commitment to peace.

Oman remains dedicated to political solutions grounded in international law."

He further highlighted the ongoing inhumane Israeli actions in Gaza and Oman's commitment to employing diplomatic, political, and legal pressure to counter these actions, emphasizing the importance of objective and credible media coverage and the responsibility of the media to convey the truth.

The Minister stressed the role and commitment of international organizations, particularly the United Nations and its Security Council, in safeguarding civilian rights in times of peace and conflict, asserting that Israel's current military actions cannot be justified as self-defense and have been widely condemned. He acknowledged the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves.

In conclusion, the Foreign Minister expressed his hope for the international community to intervene, emphasizing the importance of peaceful solutions to end the conflict and protect civilian lives
