Today, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, held a phone conversation with Wang Yi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, to address the ongoing military escalation and the dire humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and its vicinity.

Both ministers also exchanged views on the threat posed by Israel's persistent aggressive military operations against unarmed civilians. They emphasized the imperative role of the international community in upholding international law and international humanitarian law.

Furthermore, the ministers reiterated their support for the justness of the Palestinian cause and the urgent need to lift the unjust Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip. They called for the establishment of a humanitarian ceasefire to provide essential relief to the Gaza Strip's residents. They also stressed the importance of achieving a two-state solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a solution aligned with the international community's expressed will based on international law
