HE Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health received in his office on Wednesday HE Dr John Jabbour, who presented his credentials as the new representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) to the Sultanate. 

The two sides exchanged cordial conversations, touched upon the latest developments of COVID-19 worldwide, as well as reviewed the cooperation aspects between the Sultanate and the WHO.

The Minister of Health congratulated HE Dr John Jabbour for taking over the organization's representative duties in the Sultanate, pointing out that the WHO was and remains a key partner in all MOH's actions along with the joint action in the Anti-COVID-19 Strategy.

A number of MOH senior officials have attended the meeting.
