His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has conferred a Medal of Honour to His Excellency Director General and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.

"His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik awarded the Medal of Honour to His Excellency Abdullatif Yousef Al Hamad, Director General and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development in appreciation for his efforts and good contributions in serving development work at the Arab level," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

The medal was handed over by His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, when His Highness received His Excellency Abdullatif Yousef Al Hamad at his office today.
