His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the occasion of the 49th National Day. 

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to Sheikh Khalifa, praying to Allah the Almighty to achieve aspirations of further progress, welfare and prosperity for the brotherly UAE people under his wise leadership.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to President Bounnhang Vorachith of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the occasion of his country's National Day. 

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Vorachith and his country’s friendly people.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey in reply to His Majesty's condolences cable to him on victims of the earthquake that struck Izmir.  

In the cable, President Erdogan expressed on his own behalf and on behalf of the Turkish people the utmost thanks for His Majesty the Sultan's sincere condolences and sympathy. He wished His Majesty good health and happiness, and the Omani people further welfare and prosperity.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in reply to His Majesty's congratulatory cable to him on the occasion his country's National Day.  

In the cable, President Tebboune expressed his utmost appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan's congratulations and good feelings, praying to the Almighty Allah to perpetuate good health and wellbeing on His Majesty, wishing the Sultanate and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
