As a demonstration of solidarity with our Palestinian brethren, the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) has announced the suspension of all forthcoming activities, including the celebrations for Omani Women's Day.

MoSD issued a statement, saying, 'In unity with our Palestinian brothers and in light of the ongoing events and escalating tensions in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Social Development declares the suspension of all scheduled activities for this period, including those designed to commemorate Omani Women's Day.'

MoSD further added, 'Our prayers go to the Almighty, beseeching Him to alleviate the hardships and suffering of our Palestinian brothers and grant them His guidance, success, and security.'

In another demonstration of solidarity, the Office of the Governor of North Al Batinah has communicated to all institutions in the governorate that it is suspending all activities originally planned for Omani Women's Day in support of the distressing circumstances faced by our Palestinian brothers
