The Royal Air Force of Oman has conducted a medical evacuation for a crew member of a transiting merchant ship belonging to the Republic of Liberia.

A statement issued by Ministry of Defense (MoD), said, "Within the framework of the humanitarian efforts provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces, the Royal Air Force of Oman is carrying out a medical evacuation operation for a crew member of a transiting merchant ship belonging to the Republic of Liberia. The crew member is of Pakistani nationality and suffered a heart attack. He was transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah to receive the necessary treatment."
