More Than 25 Expatriates Detained In Oman

The Ministry of Labour (MoL) in Oman has conducted an inspection campaign in the Muscat Governorate, leading to the arrest of more than 25 expatriates for engaging in illegal activities. The campaign, conducted in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, targeted private homes where unlicensed businesses were operating. A total of 30 workers were apprehended for violating labor laws, and legal actions are being taken against them, according to a statement issued by the MoL's General Directorate of Labor Welfare (Joint Inspection Team).
