More than 190,000 Omanis have been registered with public sector pension funds till the end of June 2020, according to the data released by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI)

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "The total number of Omanis who registered in the public sector pension funds, which include civil service pension funds, the Diwan of Royal Court and the Central Bank, until the end of June 2020 amounted to about 199,827.

The latest statistics issued by the NCSI indicated that the number of Omani males registered in the public sector pension funds amounted to 116,287, while the number of females reached 83,540.
