Nine-year-old Honoured For His Heroic Act

Nine-year-old Al Mu'tasim Al Shaksi has been honoured by the Director General of Civil Defence for his heroic act in saving his family from a fire at his home.
A statement issued by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance, (PACDA), said: "The Brigadier General from the Director General of Civil Defence honoured Al-Mu'tasim bin Ahmed Al Shaksi for saving his family from fire at his home in the Wilayat of Bahla in the Governorate of Al-Dakhiliyah. The Brigadier praised his bravery, and stressed the need for community awareness in avoiding such accidents."
